The Network’s members are individuals willing to take action to promote and defend human rights, especially those of children. Together, members form a solidarity network, harnessing the power of knowledge and culture in order to improve the quality of life of children and offer them the pleasure and sense of achievement to be found in team effort and group initiative. Our mission is to serve the best interests of the child. Our vision is a world in which all children grow up healthy and happy, their opinions are taken into consideration and their rights are respected. The Network reaches out to all children without exception through dedicated programmes of informal education, creative workshops, social and cultural activities, advocacy services and full intervention for the protection and well-being of each child. In addition, the Network undertakes initiatives and interventions whose purpose is to promote, raise awareness of, and show active respect for the rights of children, many of which continue to be violated. What is more, many people still don’t realise that such rights exist. The Network’s programmes promote solidarity, teamwork and socialisation. Children learn about their rights in an imaginative way and are given the space to express themselves and develop into active citizens who will respect and defend human rights.
